Multimedia: Presentations and animated sequences are just a part of the broad subject of multimedia. It can be used to demonstrate a product, educate the user, or add flare and excitement through animation, sound, music, and interaction.

Thera-P Products, Home Program
for Upper Body Conditioning Exercises

This cross-platform compact disk was produced to send to assisted living centers and therapists as a tool for producing copies of the Thera-P Products Upper Body Conditioning Exercises manual. The presentation introduces the manual, displays previews of each page, and includes a button to open a PDF version of the manual for printing. It also features a button to install the Adobe Reader software and a link to the Thera-P Products web site.

MS150 Blown Away

This 3D animated sequence was created to begin a video covering the second day of the 2009 MS150. The sequence dramatically portrays how the first day was canceled due to heavy rain and winds.

The animation features a 3D logo built from a 2D version of the logo exported from a PDF, multiple animation and lighting events, a video clip of storm clouds applied as an animated texture on a background panel, and layers of sound effects complete the presentation.

ConocoPhillips Bike Club
Animated Introduction

This 3D animated sequence was created to add excitement to the beginning of club videos. A 3D version of the club's 2D logo was created and animated, then duplicated several times to create the pack of riders in the sequence. A complicated camera tracking sequence was set up and the animation was rendered using a "soft-shadow" raydiosity renderer. Dramatic music was matched to the animation to build to a climax as the camera comes to rest in front of the ConocoPhillips bike club logo.
